From the Beach to the Bench: Meet Coach Augustus
Coach Augustus Piazza brings eight seasons of experience coaching volleyball at the youth level. His connection to the sport began in high school, where he played beach volleyball and developed an appreciation for the skill, teamwork, and competitive spirit the game requires.
His coaching philosophy centers on teaching strong fundamentals, competing the right way, supporting teammates, and making every practice an enjoyable opportunity to improve. He is committed to creating a positive and inclusive environment where athletes of all experience levels feel welcome.
Coach Augustus believes successful teams are built through preparation, accountability, encouragement, and brotherhood. His goal is to help every player grow—not only as a volleyball athlete, but also as a confident teammate and leader.
